CO2 Policy
A significant part of Tidalis’ traffic management activities are conducted in the Netherlands. The main office in Apeldoorn is working on limiting CO2 emissions.
To reduce our emissions, we use the CO2 performance ladder as a tool. This performance ladder is a Dutch standard that stimulates companies and organisations to reduce their CO2 emissions, both in their daily business and when delivering projects. The reduction of CO2 emissions is achieved by reducing the use of fossil energy and, where possible, replacing it by sustainable energy. The SKAO website provides more details.
To Tidalis the CO2 performance ladder is an instrument in the Netherlands to:
- Take inventory of our emissions, i.e. to determine our CO2 footprint;
- Actively reduce our CO2 footprint;
- Involve stakeholders in achieving the reduction.
Our company is certified for level 3. The DNV certificate is available in English or in Dutch. Note that all other documentation provided on this page is in Dutch for now.

Insight

Transparancy
Through this web page, you have access to the CO2 performance of Tidalis in the Netherlands. These will be updated once every six months. In addition, we have set up an internal communication structure for the company that provides internal and external publications in the document “Toelichting Structurele Communicatie STBV 2022 H1“.
