What do you do at Tidalis?
My role goes far beyond traditional sales. I work in Business Development and Account Management, leading our commercial efforts across the Middle East and supporting selected countries in Africa and Europe. I work alongside port authorities and maritime organisations on the things that truly matter: modernising legacy systems, transitioning to integrated VTS platforms, and shaping technology strategies that stand the test of time.

How do you make an impact for our clients?
Our clients operate in environments where there is no room for error. A port authority cannot afford uncertainty. Systems must work, data must be accurate, and every decision must be supported by real-time insight. I make an impact by getting close to how our clients actually operate. I invest time in understanding their processes, their risks and their ambitions. From there, we shape solutions together that make their operations safer, sharper and more future proof. Knowing that our work contributes to safer navigation and more efficient ports: that is what drives me every day.

Why do you enjoy working at Tidalis and in the maritime world?
The maritime world is in my blood. On my mother’s side, generations of my family sailed as captains. My grandfather, his father, and the generation before that. Growing up with those stories gave me a deep respect for this industry and everything it stands for. My father is also active in the sector, so ships, ports and operations were never abstract concepts. They were part of everyday life at home. When I came across Tidalis, it felt like the perfect convergence of my professional background in software sales and my personal connection to the sea. We are not moving boxes or pushing products.
