Your Role

The Bid Manager owns the end-to-end (E2E) bid process and is accountable for managing all activities through all phases of the bid cycle, from early qualification to final submission. This includes ensuring that each step of the tender cycle is completed in time and meets the required high quality standards. Working closely with Business Development Directors, Solutions Consultant and Partner Manager, the Bid Manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure that competitive, compliant, value driven and commercially sound offers are submitted.

The Bid Manager also supports early-stage (pre-tender) engagement and influences opportunity shaping, contributes to bid/no-bid decisions, and ensures compliance with internal governance. For bid processes outside Netherlands and Belgium the early involvement of the capable partner that acts as the Prime/SI is a must do.

What will you do?

  • Lead the end-to-end bid process, delivering high-quality, compliant, and competitive proposals on time.
  • Support opportunity qualification, bid/no-bid decisions, and win strategy development in close collaboration with the sales team.
  • Build and coordinate cross-functional bid teams, ensuring effective stakeholder and partner engagement.
  • Manage governance, risk, compliance, and internal approvals throughout the bid lifecycle.
  • Review tender requirements, identify opportunities and risks, and align solutions with customer needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing bid outcomes and enhancing future bid performance.
  • Act as the central point of contact for bid-related communication across internal teams and partners.
  • Monitor tender opportunities and support proposal presentations, negotiations, and successful contract awards.

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum).
  • 5-10 years’ experience in bid, tender, or proposal management in an enterprise software B2B context.
  • Solid knowledge of project and contract management principles.
  • Familiarity with tender procedures in infrastructure or technology-driven sectors.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) is an advantage.
  • Sales/commercial mindset.
