Your role

As a Project Manager at Tidalis, you are responsible for the delivery of our Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) systems. You are involved from the acquisition phase of projects and are responsible for the execution phase from kick-off through to project closure. As a project manager, you are the primary point of contact for our customers. The projects vary in scope: sometimes they involve software only, and at other times we deliver turnkey systems, including all computers, sensors, and radar equipment.

You ensure solutions that meet our customers’ needs and provide seamless planning, installation, and commissioning. Your responsibilities include scope management, subcontractor management, financial control, risk management, quality assurance, and scheduling. You are expected to maintain oversight when multiple projects are being executed for a single customer.

What do you bring?

  • At least five years of relevant project or program management experience in a high-tech business-to-business environment;
  • Project management certification (e.g. IPMA-D/C or PMI Project Management Professional);
  • Experience working for clients such as Rijkswaterstaat or other government organizations;
  • Affinity with software;
  • The ability to apply flexible leadership styles when managing teams and suppliers;
  • Willingness to travel to our customers within the Netherlands for approximately 20% of your time;
  • Fluent communication skills in both Dutch and English, verbally and in writing.
