On 31 March 2023, Saab’s Maritime Traffic Management department became a separate company. That company is now proud to continue business as Tidalis.

The new brand was launched at the international IALA conference in Rio de Janeiro on 29 May. Tidalis has its roots in well-established companies that began as Klein Systems Group and HITT and came together as the Maritime Traffic Management department. Despite that Tidalis is a new brand, the company has decades of experience.

“We are the same ship, with the same crew and the same commitment to customers, sailing under a new flag”, says Ivo-Paul Tummers, CEO of Tidalis, “As a separate company, we will be in a position to accelerate innovation and respond faster to customer needs.”

Tidalis has over 200 systems in operation. Eight of the top twenty container ports around the world use Tidalis’ solutions.
