About Your Role
As a Junior IT Specialist, you’ll expand your knowledge of the IT world while receiving hands-on training. You will support our internal IT infrastructure and assist employees with their technical needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.
  • System Administration: Conduct regular system checks, updates, and backups, ensuring system integrity and security.
  • Network Management: Configure and troubleshoot network issues, maintaining reliable and secure connectivity.
  • Incident Management: Log and manage incidents using our IT service management tool, escalating issues when necessary.
  • User Training: Educate users on best practices and new technologies to enhance IT literacy and productivity.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of IT procedures, solutions, and configurations.
  • Out-of-Hours Support: While 24/7 IT support is not required, occasional work outside regular business hours will be necessary for system maintenance and upgrades.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT Support or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems; knowledge of network protocols and configurations.
  • Virtualization and Docker experience are a plus.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate are advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach.
  • A demonstrated willingness to learn and grow in IT support.
  • Ability to independently analyze problems and develop technical solutions.
  • A degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
