Your role
The Teamlead IT & Systems is responsible for developing and executing the IT and security strategy, You will lead the global IT function, including IT operations, cybersecurity, and business applications.

You will be responsible for the smooth and secure execution of daily IT operations, while also providing strategic direction to senior leadership. Around 50% of the role involves hands-on responsibilities in the capacity of a (Senior) IT System Administrator.

What will you do?

• Develops, implements, and maintains the IT strategy and IT governance structure in alignment with business objectives and applicable regulations.
• Leads the global IT team (System Administration, Business Applications, IT Support), managing priorities, performance, and resource allocation.
• Oversees the management and optimization of the global IT infrastructure, including networks, systems, and hardware/software procurement and lifecycle.
• Ensures cybersecurity strategy and operations are in place and compliant with company policies based on standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2), and acts on identified risks or incidents.
• Provides regular reporting on IT performance, risk, and security to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Participates in senior leadership meetings to align IT plans with organizational goals and upcoming needs.
• Manages IT budgets, vendor contracts, and procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective and secure sourcing of IT resources and services.
• Supports internal and external audits, security assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives across IT services.
• Acts as escalation point for IT incidents, problems, and projects beyond the scope of the IT System Administrator or Application Manager.
• Maintains hands-on involvement in daily IT operations, contributing directly to system administration tasks and support efforts when necessary.
• Participates with the IT-team in daily activities.

• Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Administrator or System Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, and server virtualization (VMWare).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 services (Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, InTune).
• Experience with both private and public cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Experience with networking and firewall fundamentals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of or lead a team.
• Experience in 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support.
• Experience with Linux is a plus.
