About the role
As Head of Sales EMEA, you’ll lead our sales team and collaborate closely with the Managing Director to drive growth and revenue across the EMEA region. Your focus will be on expanding our software offerings within VTS, Port Management, and Pilot Management solutions. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership, demanding both operational expertise and a proactive approach to achieve ambitious targets.

 

Key Responsibilities 

Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, driving growth in the software segment.

Client Relationships: Build and maintain key accounts to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.

Bid Management: Lead bid processes, ensuring alignment on proposals and a focus on recurring software sales.

Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute strategies that position our products effectively while considering regional market dynamics.

Sales Cycle Oversight: Manage and optimize the sales funnel from lead generation through to deal closure.

Market Feedback: Provide customer insights and market data to inform product development and innovation.

Consultative Sales: Drive consultancy services to add value and enhance software sales.

Partnership Development: Strengthen alliances with partners to expand sales channels and create growth opportunities.

Team Leadership: Rejuvenate and inspire the sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and performance. Set clear expectations, encourage accountability, and support professional development.

 

Your Skills & Experience 

Experience: Mid-career professional with senior international sales experience, ideally in software, and a strong interest in the maritime sector.

Leadership:Self-driven, with demonstrated leadership skills and a hands-on, growth-oriented mindset.

Sales Acumen: In-depth knowledge of complex sales environments, with proven success managing multi-stakeholder processes involving substantial contracts.

Subscription Model Expertise: Strong understanding of software subscription-based sales.

Communication Skills: Fluent in Dutch and English, with excellent verbal and written skills.
