Do you want to contribute to safer seas and waterways while making the global maritime sector more efficient and sustainable? At Tidalis, we develop maritime software for traffic guidance, surveillance, and ship movement management, often integrating with radar, radio, cameras, and other sensors.
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Lead to help us build a dynamic QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define testing requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Your Role
- Design and implement robust test automation frameworks to support functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve test automation practices.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on best practices for test automation and quality assurance.
- Stay updated on trends and developments in test automation tools and methodologies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
What You’ll Do

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, React.
- Extensive experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Playwright, SpecFlow).
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
